BabagaNewz
is pleased to offer you a free download of a song performed
by a group of Israeli and American staff and campers at
Camp Newman in Santa Rosa, CA.
This motivational song, “Kol Yisrael” (We Are All
Connected), was inspired partially by text from the Talmud,
Shevuot 39a: “It is written in the Torah, ‘They
shall stumble one upon the other (Vayikra 26:37).’
This means that if one sins, the other will stumble. This
teaches us, kol Yisrael areivim zeh bazeh – all
Israel is responsible for one another.” The song was composed
by Ken Chasen and Josh Zweiback immediately following the
kidnapping of two Israeli soldiers, Ehud Goldwasser and
Eldad Regev, on the Lebanese/Israeli border, and recorded
and mixed over three days in July 2006.
The music is formatted as a CD-quality MP3 file, so it won't
take up much space on your hard drive, but it will sound
good! Not ready to download? You can preview the song on
the jPod.
