ANSWER: Shosh Aroussi.
Zion always thought the voice was an angel or a woman soldier. Once, when he was being interviewed on television, he told the story and asked the woman to call in if she were listening. No one called, but the next morning the TV interviewer called to let Zion know that the girl called. He finally got to hear her story.
Shosh had been assigned to the paratroopers, in charge of the packages and the mail. On that afternoon she heard over the walkie talkie that there had been an incident in the Old City, and that there were dead and wounded and they should come at once. The doctors and medics and others should come see right away what could be done.
When she heard the commotion, she said to herself, Hang on, I'd like to see just what this Kotel looks like. She jumped in, and while they ran off to tend to the casualties, she jumped out. She was a Yemenite and she spotted a Legionnaire waving a white flag. She asked him in Arabic: "Where's the Kotel?" He said: "Here." And she ran into Zion from the opposite direction, just like he said.
They brought Shosh and Zion together on TV the next week to tell this amazing story.
