WAYS OF ACKNOWLEDGING GIFTS: Here’s how the 15 kids in the class say “thank you”: 13 thank the giver in person; 9 write thank-you notes by mail; 8 phone to say “thank you”; 3 send email thank-you cards.

WHEN IN CHICAGO, OUR CLASS RECOMMENDS: Visit the Spertus Museum, a Jewish museum with 10,000 objects, artifacts, and works of art spanning 3,500 years of Jewish history.
